November 26, 2021 – IPEX continues to expand its warehousing and distribution capabilities in North America, with its newest distribution centre in Charlotte, N.C., now fully operational.

At over 200,000 sf, the new facility nearly doubles the company’s warehouse space in the region.

“At IPEX, we place the customer at the centre of all of our decisions, and expansion in key markets to bring products closer to them is one of the ways we continue to deliver an exceptional experience,” said Alex Mestres, IPEX CEO.

All new IPEX facilities incorporate “industry-leading health & safety best practices and technologies,” says the company. Scanning and material-handling equipment, and forklift and pedestrian safety equipment, are being evaluated for installation in the new year.

The new distribution centre follows other strategic openings, including in Winnipeg and Dartmouth, N.S., and the announcement of a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant to be built in Pineville, N.C.
