September 28, 2017 – Irwin Beron, president of Rab Design Lighting, is retiring after 50 years in the lighting industry, and handing over the reigns to his eldest son, David, who is now president.

“It’s been an incredible journey and I am honoured to have been a part of RAB Design’s growth story,” Irwin said, who will remain with Rab Design as chair.

The company explains David has held the title of vice-president of Market Operations at Rab Design since 2008 and has over 20 years of technology experience managing projects in diverse environments, spanning North America, Australia and Asia. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and is certified as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).

“My father has been a strong leader and has laid a foundation of exceptional core values, honesty and an unwavering commitment to our valued customers and cherished staff that is second to none,” David said. “It is my commitment that those values will never change.”
