“Following an exhaustive search with a deep field of strong candidates, I’m delighted to have John’s connections to the technologies and trends that are transforming electricity systems around the world,” says Frank Saunders, chair of CNA and president of Ontario’s Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII). “He is the ideal champion of nuclear power as the enabler of a clean and modernized grid.”
“Nuclear power has an indispensable role to play in decarbonizing global economies through clean electrification,” says Mr. Gorman. “Canada’s leading expertise means CNA’s innovative member companies will be at the forefront of this exciting transformation. I’m pleased to be part of the nuclear industry and to serve our members during this pivotal time.”
