November 19, 2013 – The ES-1964DS free-fall electrician scissor from Jonard Industries is designed to cut thicker wire and cable while reducing fatigue.

Manufactured using drop forged steel for greater durability, it is notched to strip 18-20 AWG and 22-24 AWG wire with one blade serrated and with a scraper and file are on the back of the blade. According to the company, the unique blade alignment-the scissor first meets about an inch from the tip-reduces fatigue when many cuts are required.
