November 22, 2013 – The MP-800 Magnespot reference point locator from Jonard Industries is a two component kit (transmitter and locator) which helps users pinpoint the location to drill or cut through a wall.

Place the transmitter on one side of the wall and from the opposite side watch as the receiver draws you to the exact location of the transmitter, says the company, adding that results are accurate to within 1/2 in. and up to 40 in. away. According to Jonard, Magnespot shows users where to drill through exterior walls while avoiding electrical wires or water lines, as well as how to drill from any angle, especially when setting up satellite connections or CCTV systems. The kit includes a transmitter, receiver, two 9V batteries, tack adhesive, instruction sheet and carrying case.
