Juniper Systems celebrates 20 years

May 23, 2013 | By Alyssa Dalton

May 23, 2013 – Juniper Systems, a designer and manufacturer of handheld computers for mobile data collection in tough environments, is celebrating its 20th year in business. Founded in 1993 by Ron Campbell, the company continues to be operated by members of the Campbell family. It is currently led by Ron’s son, Rob Campbell, as president and CEO.

“Since joining Juniper Systems 19 years ago, I have loved seeing the growth and evolution of the company from its early beginnings to where it is today,” said Rob. “From day one, my dad strove to build a company that delivered exceptional products and great customer service, while providing a great work environment for its employees. This desire has really shaped our culture here at Juniper, and we still focus on those things every day.”

“We’ve got our sights set on the future,” he continued. “We’re building an enduring company that will be around to provide reliable rugged data collection solutions to our customers for many years to come.”

Juniper Systems’ rugged handheld computers feature an IP67 rating for dust and water and are tested to MIL-STD for water, humidity, sand and dust, vibration, altitude, shock, and temperature.
