September 12, 2013 – Extending its VDV (voice/data/video) line of tools, connectors and testers, Klein Tools introduced the VDV226-107 compact ratcheting modular crimper.

With a direct lateral crimp action and heavy-duty ratchet, it promises an even and complete termination on every cycle. The crimper cuts and strips Cat 6, 5e and 3, and flat-satin voice cables, as well as 6- and 8-position modular connectors. An ergonomic and compact design facilitates single-handed operation, says Klein, and commonly used wiring diagrams are placed directly on the tool for quick reference (other frequently used wiring diagrams are downloadable to your mobile device).
