Klein Tools expands holemaking line in 2015

November 3, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

November 3, 2015 – Klein Tools says it has expanded and enhanced its holemaking product line. The new products include bi-metal hole saws, double-fluted step drill bits and wood boring bits.

The updated line is made from “heavy-duty steel for fast cutting, while engineered for longer-lasting performance and higher durability then previous models”, the company claims.

The bi-metal hole saws are for cutting precise holes in stainless steel, mile
steel, drywall, ceiling tile, laminate, wood and plastic. The double-fluted step drill bits feature a “thick, extra-long” 3/8-in. hex shank and the wood boring bits have a new low-torque design and a head that “minimizes vibration while drilling versus ordinary paddle bits,” according to Klein Tools.
