Klein Tools wire stripper/cutter 11061 and enhanced Katapult 11063W

January 22, 2013 | By Alyssa Dalton

January 22, 2013 – Two new Klein Tools wire strippers/cutters boast quick and efficient performance, while saving time and effort. The self-adjusting wire stripper/cutter 11061 features a stripping head that adjusts to strip 10-20 AWG solid, 12-22 AWG stranded, and 12/2 and 14/2 Romex wire. According to the company, the tensioning knob easily adjusts to apply the correct amount of force on the wire and an adjustable stopper controls the length of the core strip. It also features a wire cutter built into the handle. Klein Tools has also enhanced its Katapult wire stripper 11063W (pictured right) by adding a built-in wire cutter for 8-22 AWG wire, with stripping holes removing up to 1-in. of insulation. The toolmaker recommends the self-adjusting wire stripper/cutter for those stripping various wire sizes and types on a regular basis, and the Katapult for users continually stripping the same wire size.
