July 19, 2013 – Kohler Power Systems has released a new 2500kW generator with a V-16 (76L) engine. The 2500REOZDC has a 60Hz standby rating, features a 50C cooling system and heavy-duty air cleaner assembly, as well as dual-bearing alternators. The generator fully integrates with Kohler automatic transfer switches, custom paralleling switchgear and controls, says the company. The generator earned IBC 2012 seismic certification (CHECK OUT video below), making it suitable for operations such as hospitals, large data centres and water treatment plants.
