July 28, 2011 – (Alyssa Dalton, Associate Editor) Where were you last Thursday when temperatures in Ontario hit a record high of 37.9°C? I was on a golf course… for the first time ever! What a day to learn the game, as the Ontario Energy Network (OEN) hosted its Annual Sunnybrook Foundation charity golf tournament at station creek GC in Gormley.

Despite the scorching weather, the event brought out over 150 attendees and we had some hot, sweaty, competitive fun. Thank you to OEN for hosting the event, and to everyone who had a hand organizing it, especially Dave, Shirley and Chris Reid, and Cynthia Kenth.

A special thanks to all those who taught me their golf tips and tricks. Looking forward to seeing you out there soon!
