March 2, 2012 | By Alyssa Dalton

March 2, 2012 – The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) has announced record numbers for advance registration to the upcoming LEDucation 6, set to take place in New York, N.Y., in less than three weeks. The March 21 event is expected to draw a crowd of more than 1200 lighting and design professionals, said organizers.

With the exhibitor show floor completely sold out with more than 90+ manufacturers from across the world, LEDucation 6 positions itself for another record breaking year, added organizers.

Attendees will be able to participate in a lineup of educational programming on LED technology, as well as visit and view product showcases from various manufacturers. Online registration will remain open until March 19 at www.leducation.org. Advance registration is $20 or $25 on-site, while DLF, IES members and students (with proper ID) can attend for free with advance registration.

Call for volunteers
LEDucation is produced by a volunteer committee and board members from the DLFNY. As a volunteer organization, they are asking for attendee support of LEDucation by donating their time to assist the day of the event. Volunteers are asked to assist during two hour shifts starting at 10 a.m. until closing. To volunteer, please email info@leducation.org with “VOLUNTEER” in the subject line. All volunteers will receive complimentary admission.
