November 9, 2015 – Legrand now offers a new line of hospital-grade power indicating receptacles in both extra heavy-duty and heavy-duty configurations and in both traditional duplex and decorator styles. The products feature a wrap-around green dual LED that give power indication when its needed most—even with two critical devices plugged in, Legrand says

Both traditional duplex and decorator styles were designed so that the LEDs can be clearly seen, even with two, large grounded plugs engaged in the device, Legrand says. The dual LEDs operate independently from one another to accommodate split-circuit wiring installations. Tamper-resistant protection comes standard with each receptacle.

All receptacles in this line meet UL Hospital Grade and feature a wide body design, heavy gauge corrosion-resistant steel mounting strap, and one-piece, triple-wipe, nickel-plated brass contacts, according to Legrand. They are available in PlugTail and standard back- and side-wire terminations.
