Legrand teams up with Lumenetix for Wattstopper DLM Colour Control

March 29, 2016 | By Renée Francoeur

March 29, 2016 – Legrand North America has introduced the Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management (DLM) Colour Control, claiming it as “the industry’s first code-compliant circadian rhythm lighting system”. As a controls partner for Lumenetix, the DLM Colour Control will be interoperable with Lumenetix’s araya5 LED light engine.

The system comprises of an in-fixture control module integrated into the DLM platform with a wall box mounted astronomical clock and timer. DLM Colour Control is ideal in all areas where high quality LED lighting and features are needed, Legrand notes. The module uses standard DMX protocol to communicate with LED drivers and controllers, and enables control of dimmable LED drivers and controllers for CCT and colour control applications.

“As a controls market leader, we see DLM Colour Control as a catalyst in accelerating mass market adoption of LED lighting features—and that’s why we’re so excited to partner with Lumenetix, a company driving advanced lighting innovation,” says Jim Young, VP of Marketing for the Building Control Systems Division at Legrand.

“Integration with the DLM Colour Control system is a natural fit for our araya5 platform,” added Jeffrey Saake, executive VP of Lumenetix. “By collaborating with companies like Legrand, it opens doors to new possibilities in LED lighting capabilities and applications.”
