Legrand/Wiremold has introduced three new wireless access point (WAP) enclosures designed specifically for use with the Cisco 1250 Aironet WAP. They conceal the WAP and promise optimal WiFI signal coverage to adjacent spaces while supporting industry-standard PoE (power over ethernet). Two of these new enclosures are for drop ceiling applications, while the third is a wall-mount. WAPE5-1250KITD and 1250KITR provide a 5-in. deep enclosure that fits into a 2 x 2 drop ceiling tile grid. Faceplates allow for mounting the Aironet 1250 WAP using dipole antennas (1250KITD) or remote antennas (1250KITR). The NME1250AP conceals WAPs in a cETL-listed enclosure. The
enclosures are supplied with mounting hardware.
