Legrand/Wiremold’s Evolution work surface portals provide table-top access to electrical, voice/data/video, and audio services. The company says these portals differ from many table-top products in that their covers can fully close, even when equipment is plugged in and being used. The cover assembly features two spring-loaded slide cable egress doors that provide access without using flip lids, doors or pop-ups. Power receptacles and VDV connections are mounted below the table surface, protecting connections and minimizing obstructions on the table surface. The portals are available in 6-in. or 8-in. sizes; other options include surface- or flush-style, and cord-ended or hard-wired versions. Solid, die-cast aluminum covers feature powder-coated colours: Nickel, Bronze, Brass, Grey and Black.
