July 23, 2019 – Evluma says it has enhanced its OmniMax LED replacement lamp for use with existing decorative streetlight fixtures, increasing its lumen output by more than 15%.

By integrating improvements in LED chip technology, the higher-performance lamp—set to begin shipping across Canada and the U.S. at the end of this month—is designed to expand options for electrical contractors as they update municipal lighting. It can be screwed into a post-top, teardrop or shoebox-style fixture. Its radial light engine then uses that original fixture’s optics to maximize efficacy.

With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, the OmniMax can be dimmed, pre-programmed and otherwise controlled wirelessly, using Evluma’s ConnectLED app. It is available in five different correlated colour temperatures (CCTs) ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 K, carries a 10-year warranty and features surge protection and active cooling.
