September 3, 2019 – MaxLite has introduced the FloodMax series, a full line of LED floodlights for general-area, façade, landscape and signage illumination applications.

Featuring die-cast aluminum construction and 10-kV surge protection for durability in the field, the products are available in four sizes of housing and seven wattages, specified to replace legacy fixtures ranging from 50-W high-intensity discharge (HID) to 1,000-W metal halide (MH). Photo-control capabilities are included as standard, to help customers optimize energy savings.

Light outputs range from 2,500 to 40,000 lumens, with listed performance up to 135 lumens per W, and colour temperatures include 4,000 and 5,000 K. Wide-beam distribution is standard, but a narrow-beam option is also available upon assembly. A high-voltage option and accessories, including visors and vandal shields, are also available.
