IOS-DOV-DT sensors new from Intermatic (Summer 2016)

June 27, 2016 | By Renée Francoeur

June 27, 2016 – Intermatic Incorporated has new IOS-DOV-DT occupancy and vacancy sensors: in-wall and ceiling-mount products that use dual (PIR/Ultrasonic) technologies to monitor “virtually any area within a building, helping contractors and specifiers achieve integrated lighting strategies in retrofit or new construction project.”

Intermatic sensors can also be used to achieve LEED certification, the company says. They have a 5A electronic ballast rating and meet the NEMA 410 Standard.

With zero-crossing technology to suppress in-rush current impact, Intermatic says these sensors provide On/Off sensing no matter the lighting technology, whether older magnetic models or new electronic drivers and ballasts.

The sensors also include: adjustable PIR sensitivity, adjustable time delay (15 seconds to 30 minutes) and “no neutral wire required” models are also available for retrofit.
