December 7, 2018 - Hylite LED has introduced the Aeon LED Flood Luminaire, designed to last more than 100,000 hours and fully enclosed to withstand extreme conditions, including corrosive environments.

The light is available in 33,100-, 44,100-, 62,100-, 73,500- and 105,000-lumen packages, with multi-voltage options for 100 to 277 or 347 to 480 V AC. A thermal management system supports continuous airflow to help keep electronic components cool, while an aerodynamic design is intended to maximize wind resistance and reduce vibrations and, consequently, flickering.

With a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) above 85, the light reportedly delivers 140 lumens per watt. The manufacturer also promises a Unified Glare Rating (UGR) under 19, similar to nominal glare from indoor lighting, to prevent light spillage. The system is also adaptable to wired or wireless lighting controls.
