December 12, 2016 – Dimplex North America Ltd. has launched its Revillusion brand, a “new patented design” in the electric fireplace category.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Dimplex says Revillusion achieves the “elusive goal of an electric fireplace with the depth and charm of a wood-burning fireplace” as the ThruView design lets you look through the flames to the back of the fireplace, and you can add the warm colours and flicker of firelight and adjust the overall light level from bright to midnight.

With no combustion there is no venting or safety clearance to worry about so virtually any surround material or location is possible, the company adds. There is also the choice to plug in the firebox using the plug kit or hardwire to 120V or 240V electrical supply.
