Lighting Science Group Corporation, an American maker of LED-based lighting, has announced that Dr. Jose Sierra has joined the company as vice president of Customer Satisfaction. Sierra will oversee all aspects of customer support and continue to maintain the company’s “high level” of customer satisfaction. He reports to John Stanley, Lighting Science Group’s chief operating officer.

“Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to the company and Jose’s diverse leadership experience in this area will ensure that as the company continues to grow our customers will receive the very best personalized attention,” said Rich Weinberg, company chairman and chief executive officer.  

Prior to joining Lighting Science Group, Sierra served as the director of quality and reliability and continuous improvement at DRS Technologies. He has also previously held the positions of director of quality and reliability at Bosch Security Systems and manager of supplier quality assurance with Lockheed Martin.
