Lighting Science Group hires Ted Russ

Lighting Science Group (LSG) Corp.—a maker of LED-based lighting—has hired Ted Russ to serve as its general manager for the company’s North American illumination business. LSG says Russ will play an integral role in “leading the company’s expanding business operations for innovative lighting in public infrastructure, commercial and consumer products”.

Some time prior to joining LSG, Russ served as vice-president and
general manager for Acuity Brands’ ROAM initiative—a remote asset
management services company focused on street and area lighting. (Russ
went to Acuity Brands through the acquisition of Guardian Networks, a
company he founded and led as CEO.)
