November 3, 2017 — Hubbell Lighting has announced that Litecontrol is launching a new portfolio of architectural-grade products as part of its “reinvigoration” of the “SAE” (Simple, Affordable, Efficient) Program.

Four new products — the SAE101, SAE102, SAE201 and SAE202 — will feature Litecontrol’s Variable Intensity Technology, which empowers specifiers to match output or power, in 50 lumen increments, to meet precise needs, be it indirect or direct output, the company says.

The SAE101 rectilinear and the SAE102 curved pendants are small-scale pendants with versatile performance options and efficacy up to 137 lumens per watt for indirect and 102 lumens per watt for direct. Both feature a continuous lens with flanged end casting to eliminate light leaks, a maximum colour variation of 2 SDCM, 83 CRI and can accommodate row joining without entering the fixture.

Meanwhile, the SAE201 is an architectural-grade concealed cove luminaire, which features an adjustable beam angle that can be manipulated pre- or post-installation. Performance efficacy is up to 109 lumens per watt and 83 CRI.

Finally, the SAE202 is a recessed wall/slot luminaire designed for perimeter lighting needs. Its vertical performance offers general ambient lighting levels when required, efficacy up to 86 lumens per watt and 83 CRI.
