September 16, 2021 – Electrical distributor Lumen recently broke ground on an expansion of its distribution centre—a $ 90-million investment.

The expansion will measure roughly 70-ft high and result in a total building area of over 560,000 sf. Lumen says this expansion, along with the implementation of the fourth phase of automated systems, will lead to “a considerable increase our cable-cutting volume”.

The expansion project begins this month, and will run until September 2022. (The new automated system is expected to be operational by July 2023.)
