Lumen’s Laval HQ and distribution centre now LEED-certified

March 10, 2017 – Lumen’s new headquarters and central distribution centre in Laval, Que., was recently awarded Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Certification.

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) explains LEED is a third-party certification program for the design, construction and operation of “high-performance green buildings”.

Completed in July 2015, the 385,000-sf facility is located along Autoroute 440 West.

Lumen is a subsidiary of Sonepar Canada, which is represented across six provinces by Dixon Electric, Gescan, Lumen, MGM Electric, Sesco, Texcan and Vallen.
