July 11, 2016 – Shortall Électrique says it has taken “lighting to a new level” with its recently renovated Lumispec lighting design centre, locatedin Saint-Laurent, Que.

On June 16, 2016, designers, architects and contractors gathered to celebrate Lumispec’s official opening since its renovation. Dubbed “Lumifest 2016”, guests were treated to gastronomic delights, activities and gifts. Manufacturers, too, were in attendance, as visitors were given previews of new smart home products.

Guests were also able to experience Wi-Fi-controlled systems, such as Lutron Caseta, Ecobee3 thermostat, and Adorne switches and outlets.

“We have all the necessary resources to help specify lighting products and assist project developers in integrating state-of-the art products into their design plans,” explained Irwin Weissman, Shortall president.

“Thanks to advances in today’s LED research and development, lighting plans can now reflect artistic design with few restrictions,” added Weissman.
