Lutron now shipping its RadioRA 2 system thermostat

November 30, 2011 – Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics is now shipping a thermostat for its RadioRA 2 system, offering increased convenience and energy savings, it says. With this addition, the system now controls 60% or more of a home’s energy use, by controlling the lights, shades, stand-by power from small appliances and temperature, explains Lutron, adding that the system, which is scalable to 200 devices, operates via Lutron’s Clear Connect wireless RF technology.
