The Manitoba Electrical League announced the appointment of Gord Macpherson as General Manager, effective April 1, 2011, replacing the retiring Dave Foreman.

Macpherson brings a “well-rounded background in sales, marketing, business development and association management to his new role”, says MEL. Most notably, he has had previous associations with the Business Development Bank of Canada, the WCB and Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters. He also has had experience in business consulting, working with business owners, managers and aspiring entrepreneurs.
