Mark Coppa joins BICSI – Joe Sullivan new directorship

BICSI, an association supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry, has appointed Mark Coppa to VP professional development while Joe Sullivan (former assistant director of finance) has been promoted to director of administration & finance.

Coppa has varied experience in telecom and related fields, says BICSI.
He spent 17 years with the original then successor companies of Pacific
Bell, Pacific Telesis and SBC. His final position there was director of
Data Services Provisioning and Repair. Coppa also served for seven years
as senior vice president of Global Field Services for Level 3
Communications.

Sullivan, meantime, has been with BICSI since January 2006, and has been
responsible for accounting operations and other administrative areas.
He has also been a contributor to the staff Management Committee, staff
task forces and SWOT teams.
