July 23, 2012 – Master Lock describes its new MasterLockAlert as a highly effective, wireless portable alarm system that can be used in dozens of applications to help protect expensive tools and equipment. When armed, MasterLockAlert’s sensors are designed to detect shock or tilting, and if tampering occurs, a 100 decibel alarm will sound. The security system is armed and disarmed using a wireless handheld key fob. The unit also features a magnetic back for portable installation, as well as Velcro strips for non-metallic installations.
