McCaine Electric’s John Schubert appointed to Osprey advisory board

February 25, 2014 – Osprey Capital Partners Inc.—an independent mid-market investment banking and financial advisory firm—has appointed of John Schubert, president of Winnipeg-based electrical contractor McCaine Electric Ltd., to its industry advisory board.

“His extensive operations and leadership experience in the construction industry will be invaluable as we continue to execute on our overall growth initiatives and enhance our construction practice,” said Osprey’s John Mottola, managing partner.

Schubert is a past-chair of the Canadian Construction Association (CCA), where he has been an active board member since 2003. He is a past-president of the Winnipeg Construction Association, and a former vice-chair of the Apprenticeship Board of Manitoba. John has participated on the Construction Industry Wages Board, the Construction Labour Relations Association and the Manitoba Electric League.

Additionally, John was the founding chair of the Manitoba Construction Sector Council, and has been an active trustee for several IBEW 2085 trust committees since 1981, and continues to be active in the industry. John has been a Gold Seal Certified Project Manager since 2005.
