MCEE is produced by the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), the Corporation of Master Pipe Mechanics of Quebec (CMMTQ), the Corporation of Master Electricians of Quebec (CMEQ), and the Corporation des entreprises en traitement de l’air et du froid (CETAF).

Together, the four associations represent 90% of the region’s plumbing, HVACR and electrical contractors and wholesaler distributors. IES Montreal (Illuminating Engineering Society) and the Electrical Council of the Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) also support MCEE.

The 2013 installment is expected to attract over 7000 visitors involved in all areas of sales, design, specification and installation. They include contractors, wholesaler distributors, builders, engineers, architects, designers, renovators and maintenance personnel, all visiting with over 400 exhibitors from across Canada and the United States.

New products receive special attention at MCEE. Judges review exhibitor applications and only those finalists that meet the challenging criteria will be displayed in the New Product Showcase. Winners in a variety of product categories will be announced at the show.

To complete the event, MCEE will include a comprehensive seminar program.
