October 7, 2016 – When I published my report on Milwaukee Tool’s 2016 New Product Symposium, I suggested you “keep your eyes open for some more exclusive content in October”. Meet the new M18 Force Logic 12T utility crimper.

Regardless of the way you crimp, Milwaukee says the tool stays well-balanced because of the handle’s positioning, while the 350° rotating head and red alignment marks provide for a comfortable wrist position.

CHECK OUT the video above, which includes footage from the Milwaukee NPS2016 of this and other new utility tools.

Protecting internal components, the tool’s Predictive Force Monitoring (PFM) allows it to continuously measure force output to deliver consistent speed and accurate pressure with every crimp. An LED on the OneKey-compatible tool provides instant pressure verification, while a pre-crimp battery check automatically verifies whether you have enough battery power to complete a crimp from start to finish.

Powered by M18 RedLithium batteries, the crimper operates from -18°C to 55°C, and its electronics are sealed against dirt, dust and moisture.

The tool is expected to launch February 2017. (Gallery photos by A. Capkun)
