July 26, 2021 – Megger offers three “easy-to-use”, lightweight, hand-held testers for electricians and electrical engineers.

The MET1000 is an “all-in-one” meter with detachable test leads. This multi-functional, auto-ranging voltage and current tester can measure AC/DC voltage to 1000V, and current up to 200 A. It also includes a phase rotation test, and both inrush current and a built-in single-pole voltage test.

The TPT420 is designed to warn users of dangerous test voltages, even after the unit’s batteries are exhausted. The compact unit provides both AC and DC voltage measurements, ranging from 12VAC to 1000VAC, and up to 1500VDC. Rated Cat IV 1000V, this tester can be used in a variety of applications, including electrical, fire alarm and solar PV systems.

The DPM1000 power clamp meter combines the functionality of power and harmonics meter and data logger in one package. The unit can measure DC, AC, pulsed and mixed currents up to 1000A simply by clamping the jaws around the appropriate conductor, while voltages up to 1000VAC or DC may be measured by the supplied test leads.
