November 14, 2014 – Meltric Corp. says the new DSN150 Series extends its Decontactor line of switch-rated plugs and receptacles to 150A/75hp.

The DSN150 is a connecting device for large motors and other high-amperage applications, such as shore power, generators or power distribution, and is suitable for wet environments, as it offers Type 4X watertightness. Meltric connectors utilize butt-style contacts that promise long operating lives and contain a UL/CSA integral switching mechanism that’s approved for both branch circuit and motor circuit disconnect switching.
