May 10, 2014 – Milliken & Co. announced it has acquired Westex Inc., saying this strengthens its “commitment to providing superior flame-resistant (FR) fabrics for protective clothing”.

Westex has launched several brands over the years, including UltraSoft, UltraSoft AC, Indura, TrueComfort, Moda-Quilt and Vinex.
