December 21, 2012 – Milwaukee Electric Tool has introduced the 18V M18 FUEL 1/4” Hex Impact Driver, which it describes as delivering up to 3 times longer motor life, up to 50% more runtime, and up to 1600 in-lbs of torque and 0-2900 RPM. A 3-Mode Drive Control feature also gives users better control over the power and speed required for specific applications, says Milwaukee. Three fastening modes are available: precision work (0-850 RPM, 200 in-lbs of torque), fasteners and material (0-2,100 RPM, 700 in-lbs of torque); and maximum performance (0-2,900 RPM, 1600 in-lbs of torque).
