January 23, 2018 — Milwaukee says the M18 Fuel Hackzall One-Handed Reciprocating Saw is the first brushless, 18V one-handed recip saw on the market.

The new saw combines Milwaukee’s Powerstate brushless motor, Redlithium battery pack and Redlink Plus intelligence. With a 7/82 stroke length, Milwaukee says the tool delivers the fastest cuts in its class. When equipped with an M18 Redlithium XC5.0 battery pack, it can deliver up to 180 cuts in 2x4spf and over 220 cuts in 3Ž4² EMT.

Fully compatible with the M18 line, the M18 Fuel Hackzall features a dual gear counter-balance mechanism and pivoting shoe to provide up to four times lower vibration for faster cut starts and reduced blade chatter in metal and PVC materials, Milwaukee says.
