July 11, 2013 | By Stephanie Lai

July 11, 2013 – Milwaukee Tool is expanding its hand tool offering with several new utility blades. Made of micro carbide deposited metal, the company says the new General Purpose utility blades deliver up to three times longer life than standard carbon blades and are engineered with optimized blade geometries to deliver maximum cutting performance in a variety of applications. Along with General Purpose utility blades, the new utility blade offering will include: the Hook utility blade to cut roofing, synthetic wrap, insulation and other building materials; the Drywall utility blade for drywall and sheet material; and the Carton utility blade to minimize the risk of cutting injury and protect contents in cartons and packaged goods.
