Milwaukee introduces Speed Feed Self-Feeding Wood Bits – August 2010

August 9, 2010 | By

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. introduced the Speed Feed Self-Feeding Wood Bits to deliver “clean holes up to 10 times faster than flat boring bits,” says Milwaukee. It features a feed screw, double wing spur, and tapered design for improved performance. That associate product manager, accessories, Brian Spranger explains: “As the feed screw solidly anchors into the wood, the double wing spurs begin to score the wood as it drills to provide a clean cut hole. The tapered design of the shank then allows the bit to back out of the hole with ease.”
