Milwaukee Knockout System covers both Mild and Stainless

November 23, 2014 – Back in the summer, EBMag had a chance to play with Milwaukee Tool’s new Knockout System. Check out OUR VIDEO.

A challenging step in the hole-making process is setting up the punches and dies on the material. Milwaukee says it has addressed this issue with Exact punches and dies that feature bold, laser-engraved crosshairs and a clear view of the work surface to simplify alignment. They are also set up separate from the tool utilizing a quick-connect alignment system that allows the user to snap the tool onto the punches and dies once set-up is complete, and pull the trigger to punch. Milwaukee says its standard punch and die sets cover both Mild and Stainless applications up to 4 in. Powered by Milwaukee RedLithium batteries, the M18 Force Logic 10-ton knockout tool comes with a right-angle design to operate in tight spaces, and is compatible will other punch and die brands. Rounding out the system is the hand ratchet, which features 5° ratcheting that requires less clearance to punch.
