Milwaukee M18 Fuel Super Hawg (2711-20) powers through 6 in. holes

December 16, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

December 16, 2015 – Milwaukee Tool says it’s new cordless right angle drill will not only power through 6 in. holes, but can also drill over 75 holes per charge. Optimized for plumbing and HVAC applications, the M18 Fuel Super Hawg is suited for professionals drilling with up to 4-5/8 in. self-feed bits and up to 6 in. hole saws, the company says.

M18 Fuel products feature three Milwaukee-exclusive innovations: the Powerstate brushless motor, RedLithium XC5.0 battery pack and Redlink Plus hardware and software.

In addition, the 2711 model features a new Quik-Lok chuck. This proprietary chuck provides a keyless, one-handed bit change for most augers, self-feed bits and hole saws with flat or groove 7/16 in. shanks, as well as 3-flats bits, Milwaukee notes. The tool is also equipped with a mechanical clutch in low gear to protect the tool in case of bind-up.
