Milwaukee Ax carbide recip blades last longer (48-00-5221/5226/5227)
September 16, 2016 | By Renée Francoeur
September 16, 2016 – Milwaukee Tool says its Ax with carbide teeth Sawzall blades deliver 30 times longer life over standard bi-metal blades and are two times faster cutting than other carbide blades.
Similar to the original BiMetal Ax Sawzall blades, these feature a “Nail Guard” tooth design to prevent nails from fracturing the blade’s teeth and the “Fang Tip” design bites into the wood on first contact, says Milwaukee, for a fast plunge cut.
Models include the 6-in. (48-00-5221), 9-in. (48-00-5226) and 12-in. (48-00-5227).
