December 13, 2017 — Mitsubishi Electric’s 750kVA Summit Series UPS product was recently certified by Energy Star to meet 99% efficiency in the double conversion operating mode.

The Summit Series UPS is the first UPS to apply Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, says Mitsubishi. Advanced SiC components increase efficiency by 70% over conventional Silicon (Si) based UPS, the company adds. The UPS products are offered in both 500kVA and 750kVA sizes.
