February 4, 2014 – The Silfab smart module says it combines the company’s high performance modules with new technology from Tigo Energy to deliver a comprehensive solution to maximize roof space, increase power output, and enhance operations and maintenance.

Through Silfab’s Impedance Matching technology, the module boasts up to 20% higher power output for arrays impacted by shading and up to 8% higher output for ‘perfect’ installations. System owners can monitor performance at the module level, and track and compile data through their smartphone, tablet and computer, as well as receive weekly or monthly reports. In an effort to improve system safety, the module shuts down automatically in case of electrical failures, such as over-voltage.
