October 26, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

October 26, 2015 – The electrical carbon business of Morgan Advanced Materials says it now offers motor terminal blocks in a range of designs. Utilizing glass fiber, reinforced polyester compression molded components and pins, the blocks are used for electric grid connection of components in AC/DC motors. They feature conductive jumpers in a range of dimensions and bolt sizes (M3-M16, rated voltage from 440V to 2000V).

Terminal blocks are generally supplied without nuts, washers and links, but can be delivered assembled if requested by the customer, according to Morgan Advanced Materials. The blocks are suitable for motor lead sizes from 2.5 mm2 to 25 mm2 and include options which are explosion-proof to 690 volts. Most frequently used UL certified molding materials include PF31, UL804, UL3415, and UL4385, the company says.

Morgan adds they are manufactured in a facility certified to ISO 9001:2008.
