Mr Electric Edmonton wins Franchisee of the Year award

Edmonton-area Steven Barry came back home from a trip to Texas last month with more than fond memories: he also returned with the Mr. Electric Franchisee of the Year Award 2010.
This award is the highest honour than can be earned by a Mr. Electric
franchisee. The winning franchise must show consistent growth through
proper training and management of the organization, consistent high
sales volume and quality customer service.
“These awards are a reflection of my entire team’s caring, commitment
and dedication,” said Barry. “To us, it’s about more than just doing a
job. The Mr. Electric system helps us build long-term relationships with
our customers. With us, they know they can count on courteous,
professional and fast service. We’re grateful to the people of the
Capital Region area for trusting us with their business, and will
continue to provide the world-class service they expect and deserve.”
Barry has owned and operated Mr. Electric of Edmonton since June 2007.
“The Mr. Electric team is thrilled Steven won this awards,” said Mr.
Electric president Jeff Meyers. “Steven’s efforts to build his business
led to a terrific payoff.”
Barry also received the Excellence in Mentoring award, which is
presented to the Mr. Electric franchise that consistently sets an
example for others within the Mr. Electric system by conveying vision,
participation and positive contribution.
To further highlight the night, Mr. Electric of Edmonton employee Shane
Schroeder earned the Service Professional of the Year Award. It is
presented to a person nominated in writing by their franchise owner and
selected by the home office staff based on his performance during the
award year. The winner must also have a history of consistently high
sales and add-on percentage, and demonstrate a high degree of technical
expertise and customer satisfaction.
