May 10, 2012 – MuxLab has introduced the HD-SDI Fiber Extender Kit (500710). The HD-SDI Fiber Extender Kit allows a single HD-SDI signal to be transmitted up to 1,000 ft (300m) via one multimode fiber cable and up to 19 miles (30km) via one singlemode fiber in a point-to-point configuration. It also supports transmission of up to 2.97/3.0 Gbps uncompressed, un-encrypted digital video (optionally including embedded audio and/or time code) within television facilities and between professional video equipment.
