National Sales
Manager

Responsibilities
• Directly
responsible for sales and marketing efforts nationally toward
establishing AFC Cable in the Canadian market.
• Serves as
liaison between AFC’s U.S. operations on regional CSA standards and
market requirements in Canada during product development.
• Establish the
offering as acceptable to the market.
• Educate various customer groups
on merits of our product (end users, OEM, consultants) and seek project
specifications at the engineering level.
• Coordinate pricing; communication
between customers, sales agent network and internal customer service
group.

Qualifications
• Bachelor
degree, college or technical school diploma.
• Must have
experience with AFC cable in the Canadian market.
• 5 to 7 years
work experience at an intermediate or senior level with a Cable company
or with a distributor in a sales or buying capacity.
• Solid
understanding of the wire and cable marketplace; the engineering
specification bid and tender process; contract sales, distributor
purchasing habits/process.
• A strong technical aptitude and
the proven ability to work independently on various projects
simultaneously.
• Experience managing the efforts
of regional Sales Agents.
